http://www.web-strategist.com/blog/2007/03/19/web-design-and-worflow-process-comparison/
Read about Web Design Process article above and
write what you think about it (at least 150 words)

Okay after reading this article…..it show some  great steps/process into creating a  good web design. It gaves us a comparison of various Web Design Processes Such as Instructional Design Process, A Design Process revealed, The Seven Phases of Web Site development and much more. In the article of “A design process revealed” its been further explained the steps, in this i learnt the all the importance of the process, the design, planning, all play a huge factor.for example

Research & Discovery – Jumping into any design project before examining the problem or task at hand might spin the wheels, but won’t get you very far. As researching on the problems, u will then be able to deal with any problems with much preparation. And only with that u will be able to find the access to it.

And there is also more steps such as exploration, tumbnail, concepts,In conclusion i think is very importance that we ourselve taking note of all this steps and put them in to full use.

What is Browser-Safe Color Palette / Web-Safe Colors?

Firstly browser- safe color palette is also known as Netscape palette, 216 palette, Web palette, and/or 6x6x6 color cube. Its is  the actual color palette(consisting of 216 color) that Mosaic, Netscape, and Internet Explorer use within their browsers.(during the 8-bit era) The palettes used by these browsers are slightly different on Macs and PCs. This palette is based on math,  contains 216 colors out of a possible 256(8-bit). leaving out the remaining 40 colors the is vary on Macs and PCs, thus it enable the palette to for cross-platform use.

Is it still relevant in today’s context? Why?

Yes it is to a smaller scale then as of today’s. Due to the major changes in the graphical system, there is only a minority of people that are still working with 8 bit computers now, with most are having aleast 16 bit computer and so the web safe colors are not great factor now.

But due to the fact that there are still 8 bit systems around, web designers are to bare in mind that it is still a factor for them to bring their work to their clients.

What are the common fonts face found on PC & Mac?

Arial, Arial Black, Verdana, Georgia, Times New Roman, Comic Sans MS, Courier New

What is page loading time and how it influence your
design?

It is the time taken for the webpage to render out/load after it has been requested. It is mainly dependent on the the resources/media that is on the webpage, such as images, flash, java, videos; and as well as the user’s bandwidths(download and upload speed). For web designer such as ourselves we shuld always take note of the file size of the things that we would lik to have in our web even if we have much things to put in we should optimise them(for example with more high res pics that the web has, there is lesser space available) And also fast-loading pages improve the user experience and slow-loading time tends to drive user away so its very important factor.
